Counseling for what keeps coming up.

For adults and young adults navigating anxiety, difficult relationships, low mood, and decisions that feel hard to make.

What we can work on

You may recognize yourself in more than one of these experiences. We can start wherever there is something you want to understand.

Anxiety and overthinking

Your mind keeps reviewing a decision, anticipating what could go wrong, or returning to a conversation. It can be hard to settle at night or begin a task in the morning.

We can look at when worry takes over, what keeps the cycle going, and ways of responding that fit your daily life.

Relationships, trust, and difficult conversations

You might feel unsure where you stand with someone, hold back a concern, or struggle to feel settled after past hurt. Even knowing what you need does not always make saying it easy.

Individual counseling can be a place to understand your reactions, needs, and choices in a relationship.

Boundaries and family expectations

You agree to something to avoid disappointing someone, then wish you had said no. Or you explain a reasonable limit again and again because the other person is upset.

We can explore the expectations you carry, the space you need, and what it is like to communicate a limit while caring about the relationship.

Self-doubt and seeking approval

Positive feedback is easy to dismiss, while a mistake stays with you. You may find yourself asking for another opinion and still doubting your choice.

We can examine the standards you hold yourself to and how you want to make decisions when complete certainty is not available.

Low mood and feeling disconnected

Ordinary tasks take more energy. You pull back from people or activities you usually care about, then criticize yourself for feeling stuck.

We can talk about what has changed, how your mood affects daily life, and a starting point that takes your current energy and circumstances seriously.

Life changes and finding direction

A familiar role, relationship, or routine no longer fits. You can see the options but are unsure which one feels like your own choice.

We can sort through the pressure and priorities behind a decision, including what you want to carry forward and what may be ready to change.

What starting can look like

Bring a recent conversation, an ongoing feeling, or a question you cannot quite put into words. We will talk about how it is affecting you and what you would like help understanding or changing.
